The detail in this is amazing. I'm not crazy about selective desaturation usually, but this is one of the few photos in the challenge that I keep coming back to.

Great color, and lack of color, & composition.

I think you've captured a great example of "urban" poverty here. I like the composition and colors. (10)

Great shot! What a great "package" this would be with a few close-ups, the men eating...nicely done. Like the way you used color.

I really like this.. represents the challenge well. Shows people from different races, ages etc. A well deserved 10 in my book!

I needed the title to completely understand the photo, but I like it a lot. The desaturation treatment and all the dull colors reinforce the emotional aspects. The rather overexposed top portion of the photo actually helps draw attention to the subjects. Good job.

I llike the pic and think it fills the caption for POVERTY better than most I have viewed...and the stark grey background and colorful persons makes it more striking in my opinion...i love it.

I like the shapness of this a lot... and selective desaturation. Also every man have different character just by his looks. And little pigeon on roof :).
It looks bit like Gringo but i could be far wrong.

The almost absolutely horizontal aspect of this shot give me a feeling of permanence to their lives. Good shot.
