I wanted to redo one by the VERY talented Judi!

I thought her original was beautiful and interesting and, more importantly, doable under Advanced editing, AND allowed me to hide my baby bump!! :) Baby Carly is growing like crazy in there and it's proving difficult to hide it for photos, haha!

I know a few people have mentioned it's "off center" or needing to be rotated, and I think it just looks that way due to Jason's right arm. For whatever reason he decided to hold it further out, and this was the shot of the bunch I liked myself in best. And since I could not pull his arm from another photo and use it, I had to stick with this one. I also think it looks a little off because on my monitor at home, my blacks are not as dark, and I can see both his legs, but when I look at it on other screens, I cannot, and his arm then, makes it seem like it's slightly rotated.

Either way, thank you all for the kind comments and votes! Jason and I had fun trying to replicate this one!

I feel like the smoothness is due to the age difference, as I did add a few noise filters, yet it seemed to do little. :) Jason is also half Asian and has a very smooth skin tone. ;)

Now the ferocious looks make sense, you guys were in vampire mode! I love the compare & contrast between this and the bookcover.

Don't remember the original exactly, but I think this is better, and funnier. A bit off balance and such intense stares. voted already

Nicely lit, but I don't like the softness. Highlight on her leg seems blown out as well.

A fantastic tribute. Obviously a lot of effort went into making this very very similar to the original.
My only minor critical comments would be; it feels like it needs a very slight rotation counter-clockwise; and it it a bit too clean (noiseless). Still worthy of an 8 of course.

There is ferocity in the both model's expressions that twists the image into...well almost a parasitic relationship. It might be the slight rotation off vertical, or something else, but while Judi's shot was edgy but balanced, this feels rather unhinged. The technicals are strong, well lit and great skintones.

very close, but totally lacking in the character contributed by the original models' maturity and expression.

A fantastic replication of the original. I like of like the smoothness of your better than the grit of the original.

Wow superbly done especially for a pregnant lady. I noticed the missing belt but this is a minor glitch in a superb photo.
