A fantasy thriller with a magical car ( think Chitty Chitty Bang Bang ) centred around a Tower that is fairly badly lite.
A good read for those long winter nights.

In Bailey's "sequel" to the Great Gatsby, we learn that Gatsby has faked his own death and now pretends to be a ghost haunting the New England coast in his Rolls Royce. I never thought Bailey could sink lower than his sequel to The Bell Jar, but he's managed it somehow.
