Colorful feathers as a background beneath a clear shot glass. Lighting source: a single incandescent bulb lying to the right on its side. Wide-open aperture (f2.8)to blur the feathers. Post processing included LOTS of de-noising, cloning for scratches on the glass bottom. Water mixed with dish soap made the medium in which oil drops were added one by one immediately before shutter clicks.
I couldn't seem to catch drops when I wanted to (immediately after dropping), but noticed they immediately headed to the side of the glass, which had its own awesomeness. Fun project!
