sorry for boorish remark about the cake. visually it belongs. I suppose all I could think is that that darn cake is way too sweet. still marvel at the rose and the teacup.

I would be so much happier without the cake. The Rose and its companions and the teacup are sublime. (Is that a David Austen Heritage rose?)

Dainty still life.

I like the colours in the foreground, just wish you shot this maybe indoors with a pastel background the green shrubs really detract from the whole scene. Already voted.
