I like it!

I think this would have worked better with just the lips and the microphone - you might have offended some with the potentially overt sexual connotations but the presence of the nose detracts from an otherwise extremely accomplished shot.

very nice. I would have cropped just below the nose, but that is just my taste to avoid the steep curve of the cheek. Howevr, you image is strong because the lips look nice and wet and the mic rich black for great contrast. bumping up.

I think this would be stronger if the nose were cropped out. 5

Great shot. I can hear her sing. Think a closer crop (without the nose) would have scored higher for me.

This is one of those instances that the title doesn't work with the photo. In my opinion, Karaoke is best done by people who aren't very musically inclined, and this woman could easily be a sultry nightclub singer, and I think it would have added depth to the photo. I know it sounds stupid, but that's just how I see it. I didn't mark it down for that, but I think another title would have added more musical credibility to this really nice shot! 7

I won't knock the B&W, but I'd like to see the color version for comparison. Anyway, this image is one of my top picks for clarity, meeting the challenge, and composition.

A wonderfully composed shot with feeling. I sure would have cloned out the saliva string in her mouth though. It kind of spoils the whole thing for me. 5

Good concept, I like BW effect. Even it's a natural thing, but I would have cloned out the saliva.

Not a big fan of this shot in black & white. But that does not affect my vote, the quality is still very nice.

Very good work done with the tight focus. The overall image is slightly imbalanced for me. The mike is heavy and dark and her lips have a very light tonal range with a delicate feel. Focus is crisp and clean, and editing excellent.

Looks like the red channel got overexposed because you canĀ“t make out any details in the lips but good shot.
