Yup, it was an awful attempt to recreate this, and without digital composite. However, I didn't have enough time to study how to do the splash, so I had to go water drop.
Also, my lighting was way off, so the definition is not the desired.
I still haven't given up on figuring out how to do it in Advanced Editing, I'll keep trying ;)
