If I find myself staring at a picture for more than a few seconds, I have to stop staring and analyze. This is beautiful! The subject matter - a lot of people take pix of themselves with their children. That isn't unusual, and the parents/kids are usually wonderful. But what is so wonderful about this picture to me are the colors, contrasts, the flowing currents between people and nature, the balance between the layers, the framing. It's beautiful. I think the focus is off in places, and that there might be a little more contrast between the elements in it (it seems too soft to me - maybe softness could have been conveyed only on the human subjects) - but this is awesome and thank you for sharing. |
