 I learned that to photograph sale, it works best to use backlighting. This was a bit too dark for the peppercorns, so I reflected a little light back to the front. Then used post processing to open shadows on the main peppercorns.

No, this photo has no relation to the other salt/pepper photos, other than they have the same subject. I have never met another DPCer in real life...
