Congrats on HM! How come we did not bump into each other in Iceland?! I was there Sept 24-28! By the way, totally agree with you, beauty around every corner. I only wish the weather was a little drier :)

Thank you all for your votes and kind comments. I was lucky enough to enjoy a trip to Iceland and took advantage of some dramatic light in the morning. I had driven to a Hotel the day before and in the morning I got up in the dark and turned out onto route 1 along a previously un-explored stretch of road. This scene greeted me after 10 minutes of driving and that sums up Iceland for me... beauty round almost every corner.
