Camera: Apple iPhone 6
Lens: Nikon AF-S DX Nikkor 35mm f/1.8G

Aperture: 2.2
ISO: 40
Shutter: 1/120

When this creepy doll broke I just remember thinking how I could use the parts in a challenge! ;)

Broken families. Shattered dreams. Tears of regret. Trying to piece it all together.

BTW it seems like prime lenses really aren't capable of getting this kind of DOF. The iphone camera is a prime lens I guess, but certainly gets a bunch more in focus than my 35mm or 50mm would - unless I squeezed the aperture - but even then. The iphone is just a more practical camera for some shots.

THank you! =)
The lighting was a sliding glass door at the top with a white laminated piece of wood as a bounce / reflector at the bottom.

I don't know if this sounded good on paper, but the execution is great.

I'm hanging this in my fantasy art gallery

The anonymity is what makes this image, nice work.

a reference to Magritte's "Son of Man" takes a rough turn with the red stains on the figure dress resembling blood.

A la Magritte, but beautifully expressed in its own right. The shock of juxtaposition and shattering limbs is classic surrealism. I love the colors, with the contrasting onion as exclamation point. She has a lot to cry about.

Simple and effective - the title could be more interesting though
I like the quality of a maddening cycle
