Powerful, well composed... the wood(?) in the lower right bothered me at first glance, but after a while it added a lot... Hope you were able to give then something for a model fee...

My guess is that this is another Librodo. It is a phenomenol shot. The expression perfectly add to the mood of the surroundings. How do you do it? Added to favs. 10, just-married

This is hard to look at and yet it keeps drawing me. It screams its message and hurts my heart.

I think "Tweety Bird" on the little boys vest has the most emotional impact for me. It points out the reality that these are children... no different from my own grandchildren, but that life has handed them such a different road to travel.

Thanks for the awareness... 10, of course

Very nice capture. Would have possibly worked well in the poverty challenge as well. It is very sad really. I don't like to see dirty children. Makes me think they are lonely. Focus and clarity are great, lighting is great, and I love the framing/cropping you chose. Nothing to complain about here. 10. ~Heather~

What a truly wonderfal capture of children and emotion. I love this picture. The framing works well. The colors, the sharpness, the posing (which I'd imagine was not posed at all) work well together. Good luck in the challenge!

After further review, I came back to bump this image up to a higher rating. To me, it is damn near worthy of National Geographic cover!!! This has got to be a Blue ribbon winner. 10. . . only the third I 've ever given. Will you please share the history and details of this shot?
