Greetings from the Critique Club!

Hah, all that's missing are some ps'd in red eyes :-) Artistically, I wonder if the name Cerberus simply didn't register with voters as the (traditionally) tri-headed dog guardian to the gates of Hell, hence his downward gaze to the lower two-thirds where the grass is just a little bit lighter as though aglow with flame. I like the tones you got with the allowed b/w conversion.

Technically it's an OK shot, nothing outstanding in terms of lighting or comp. Pity it was a Minimal challenge, cloning out the harness and/or the leash may have helped to isolate the dog a bit more and possibly add some menace to their expression - who knows what a loose dog might do? Basically does meet the challenge descrip though. I think some voters may have forgotten that Minimal is very restrictive in terms of what you can do both in camera and post.

Sorry this hasn't been the most in-depth critique, hope it helps.

Susan

Pleasantly and obviously disorienting. Cerberus, I hope not:)

The image is a decent enough snapshot but I don't see a strong connection to the challenge.
