Aurora trip with a twist.

Edit: Thanks for a great votes and comments, I was hoping for a good score but didn't expect a new PB!

A great night with my friend Otto, he brought this light to play with and as my remote trigger gives me around 100 meters range it ended up like this.

The best part was on the way back to the car, met some tourists on aurora trip and one asked to see if I got some shots, showed him few and after lots of wows she pulled up a PS camera and asked for a help catching the ligth.
Had some trouble explaining that this was not quite so simple :)

Amazing what a difference a sense of scale makes to my appreciation of an image. Nice twist on the aurora borealis image.

I think this a wonderful image. It is especially interesting because it is almost like it is night and day at the same time. For me however the bottom left, which is the least interesting part, is taking a little too much attention. The rest is great though :) Must have been a exciting event! I'm jealous. Despite being Norwegian I have never seen the northern lights.
