I probably helped to raise the ratio of views to votes during the challenge because I kept coming back to view this wonderful photograph. I cant add anymore compliments to what has already been stated except to add this to my favourites.

I expected this one to be in a least the top 10. The eyes are amazing in this one.

Intensity and color are the strong suits of your fine portrait -- one of my 5 ribbon picks this very competitive challenge. BOL

Very powerful look in those eyes.
Well seen and timed for the shot. DOF "almost" too shallow.
Well Done! Bumping up a notch ((9))

This is so sharp, the cat appears to be coming out of the image !
Beautifully lit and superbly captured.

Excellent job with the focus. Nice sharp eyes and face. I like the dof - the very gradual softness. Terrific lighting and colors. The black bg gives this the extra impact. Great job.

There's something strange with this picture.
It looks like the background has been blurred and took a bit of sharpness away from the sides...
Could also be me.

Very crisp. Couldn't you get this kitty to pay attention with both ears? :) 8.

I like the focus& dof combined with the composition and capture of the expression. The viewer (me) seems to be able to get real close and personal with the big cat. The expressions shows a kind of "I am checking you out dude, if I don't like what I see you will be in trouble."
The dark background focussus all the attention on the face and so enhances that feeling even more.
Great portrait.

very intense.. and am curious if you burned the background to isolated the couger.. it looks a little bit that way.. since there are three light spots in the background that happen to be the exact same distance from the couger.. meaning you used a brush of some sort.. anyhow.. despite the isolation that could have been done better, there is great tones in the couger and great detail. nice image.
