An appealing image that meets the challenge well

A great abstract and good seeing on your part. You get a sense of understanding what it is without enough detail to be able to confirm that it is what you think it is, thats the sign of a good abstract thats working well. The colours are both bold and appealing and enhanced by the surface ice and its apparent textures. There is an overall lack of sharpness but this is precisely the sort of image that lends itself to a softer focus.

I like your image Drake I voted it 8 during the challenge its a shame it didn't score higher by the voters in what was a very strong challenge, thank you for your entry
