 Ok -- I hate putting in photographers notes after roll over, because I figured everyone has already looked. But I couldn't get them in last night, for some reason... :(

The cats ARE NOT fed on the dining room table.

They're not even supposed to be on the dining room table. Though Mo continuously ignores that. When I want him up there for a photo, he just happens to remember the rule. When I dont want him -- he conveniently forgets.

I stopped trying to enforce the rule about 10 years ago, because it was hopeless. Luckily the table only gets used for food about 3 times a year.

So I knew there was no way of getting the cats up there at the same time. And actually getting them to stay in one spot. So up went the food.

Moriarty understood.

Cinders was confused.

She ran into the kitchen wondering if her food dish was in there. Then came back and looked confused. We rattled the dish a bit, put it back on the table, and she ran into the kitchen. Ok. I give up. I picked her up and put her on the table.

I was able to get a couple of shots, and by then Mo was done eating. (You've probably noticed that Mo doesn't need as much food as Cinders thinks she needs. :)

He jumped down. She ate. She jumped down, he came back up.

Seriously -- I swear I need a dog. I think they're easier to train.

But I don't think Jeff would want one on the table...?

Oh I see, I think this is an in-camera pano. The figure in the BG is so unexpected, it keeps me looking & wondering.

So, your cats let you sit at the table? Is that thing in the back alive? I like this photo. You made pan look easy, but I'm sure this took some work.
