I like it a little better than the color version. We are having a spectacular January 28, 2016 in RMNP. This was photographed at 9:05am from the Storm Pass Trailhead. We could use some more snow, but ok for now. Canon EOS 5DmkIII, Canon EF24-105mm f/4L IS USM, f/16, ISO 100, [1/50s, 1/100s, 1/200s], lens focal length 50mm. HDR blend in LrCC 2015. This was processed in Silver Efex Pro plugin in PsCC 2015.

Richard, compared with the HDR image earlier, this one reads just enough more detail in the darkest areas to make it snap for me. Well done.

He didn't know for certain. But, it's a logical guess because I photograph this scene quite often. My photography has the same style and subject matter on a regular basis. It's common to have my work recognized. Sometimes, it is not an advantage.

Beautiful landscape. I do wonder though if it might look a little better if it was cropped to show less sky above the mountains, giving a more panoramic type of view. In any case, I still really like this.
