 Many peeps here know I tap my maples. Daytime temps have to be above zero, and nighttime temps below zero, for a steady period. And it's during this time of year, waiting for that period of steady temps, that are the most trying!

Made a fort out of my pails and tapping equipment, and had even more fun making the badge on my toque...my good buddy Dave suggested 'Tap Me' and I just had to go with it:-) The silhouette of a maple leaf was provided by a cookie cutter.

pp: shot all pics RAW, mostly basic adjustments, d&b and layering stuff atop each other. A final hit of NIK and off to the races! Keeping it simple.
