An woman walking thru the lighted tunnel which is an art installation (connects the two buildings) at The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston in Houston, Texas, USA.

Another entry outside my wheelhouse, beginning to make a habit of that. When I saw the challenge I knew exactly where I wanted to take my photograph. The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston is located in two buildings that sit across the street from each other and are connected via a tunnel that is an art installation. The colors randomly change and if you try to stop and take a photograph the little people in blue coats will come along and make you move. So I just walked back and forth thru the tunnel shooting from the hip as I walked. I was hoping for something like this, kinda in the style of Are, Bure, Boke (grainy, blurry, and out-of-focus)......a style of photography popularized in Japan during the 1970's in a magazine called "Provoke". If it was in B&W it would be a perfect example of this style of photography but for the challenge I left it in color.

While some may find my title offensive, the rise in obesity in the United States is something that concerns me. It is also why my masters thesis was an examination of the relationship between food deserts and obesity.

Hello from the critique club

An appealing image that meets the challenge well

Thank you for your description, as a result I obviously have a huge benefit over the voters! This is seriously abstract, whilst I do like abstracts I usually like to retain some element of reference from which to reconstruct the original, here there is no way and as such I find it more difficult to appreciate and comment constructively. I think I would probably have opted for a crop within what I see here probably a square of the bottom portion of the image where I find the shapes and shades and fuzziness a little more appealing.

Thanks for an intriguing and stimulating entry Ronnie.

I dislike the title, but the image itself is excellent. it's my favorite sort of abstraction, alternating between completely representational and completely abstract, and the composition is very strong, stable but dynamic.

It took a while to recognize - truly abstract and cleverly titled. In my top 5 - good luck!

Intriguing title - can't wait to find out what this is :) Increasing my vote because of the suspense :)
