I miss Art_ROFLMAO.

*sigh*

But, back on topic:

Mary, the best mailperson in the USA (not kidding), brought me my unicorn head... and two hooves today.

(I don't like the hooves. They're too big and wrinkle up. But, I really love Mary.)

I was so excited! She waited while I opened it because she wanted to see them, too. Ha!

I love her.

Anyway, I got it off of Amazon. It was here in two days! I hope there aren't twenty of us with the same unicorn head. Ha! Wouldn't surprise me.

Anyway, I was alone this afternoon... so I'm my own model.

It's surprisingly difficult to see in the mask... and it's very hot and muggy... especially with a sweatshirt hoodie on too (to hide the edge of the mask).

The event went like this:

Set up the camera and the props.

Take off my glasses.

Put on the mask, making sure that all parts are stuffed into my collar.

Push the timer button on camera.

Walk carefully but as quickly as possible, without tripping, edging around the table. (Camera is flashing the seconds, I'm sure... but I can't see it.)

Find the chair and sit.

Pose... guessing the perfect head angle.

Wait for the "click".

THROW off the mask to breathe as soon as may be.

Put back on glasses.

Go see what it looks like on the back of the camera.

If that's not good, do all of the above after trying new lighting or a new head angle... or arms... or... or... or...

Over and over and over and over...

It it looked decent, go out the doggie gate to two rooms over and look at it on the computer screen to see what needs to be better.

Come back through the doggie gate (the dogs aren't allowed in the dining room. They think it's a restroom.) *rolleyes*

Then start at step one or two (as needed) again.

Over and over and over and over.

At least it didn't matter if I had been smiling... or if my hair was not good.

I did that thirty-three times.

And... of course, I used the second image that I took.

*sigh*

Things I learned today:

One should always have a unicorn mask around "just in case".

I'm glad I bought it. :D

Oh lord, 33 times Lydia? I did something like that number for that frying pan, paper airplane etc challenge but I didn't have quite the same "accessory" to deal with. That's dedication girl!
