I do not use a remote. I was standing with the camera hanging from the strap around my neck. My hands were resting on top. The camera is nearly silent. |

Such an amazing shot. A poignant expression that left me curious about what he was thinking.
I'm curious to know if you generally, and specifically in this case, use a remote control for your camera, so the act of taking the image is less obvious to those around you? |

On my very first photography workshop, my teacher told me that if you shoot an image where you can then count the subjects eyelashes, you've done a most excellent job. Well Mark, you've done just that!
Very brave shot. Can't believe it's your first blue in a FS was sure you'd already achieved that! |
