This was a challenge I would have loved to have been able to shoot for at any other time, because I would have had time. This week? My mother was coming up to visit for my nephew's graduation, and I had no time in the schedule to get out and shoot. But I always keep my camera with me. :)

On Friday, I drove Mom to visit her 95 year old aunt in Pennsylvania. I'd never been there, but knew that if I stayed off highways I might find something on the way. Sure enough.

As for the title, when I got back in the car she asked me if this is where they made that "creosote flour". We laughed for the next 5 miles.

No it is not a bad thing, I just noticed it. Gave you an 8 any case. I love the vibrant colours.

And is this a bad thing? Verticals are, well, vertical, which isn't easy on an old barn.

Great capture. Love those old painted signs on barns.
