Lauren is gorgeous, talented, sweet, and likes to work really hard. When I asked if she wanted to do a levitation shoot, she was all up for it and wondered if I might provide a mattress or something that she could land on. That kind of dedication is amazing.

Of course, I explained that she wouldn't actually be flinging herself into space, but that I would be creating that illusion with some PS magic.

She did seem a bit relieved.

We actually came up with the concept together. She had brought some "flowy" dresses and skirts with her to inspire us, and was actually wearing the "live fish" skirt. We came up with the idea of doing a fish in a bowl. Then it morphed to a dead fish in the bowl. And finally, I decided that having one living and one dead would be perfect.

I'm pretty pleased with how this turned out. I hope you enjoy it.

I really hate those fish being put into the same bowl to fight to death.

And... unfortunately, this reminds me of that... so I don't love it.
