Arg. We worked so hard on this... the last night of the challenge.

I ruined a brand new ($20) pair of shorts (first time wearing them) due to sparks flying. *sigh*

And then... I had to save at 90% quality in Save for Web... and only 1040 pixels wide.

Not amused.

It's pretty cool in the real world.

*grin*

Shot on the last night. I uploaded four minutes before rollover...

My MIL's body died yesterday... and... I've spent the day searching out photos for her service, scanning them, editing them... sending them... etc.

*sigh*

My family rocks.

Oh... and we had eight folks here yesterday.

And a new guest here today... who has no clue that anything's going on.

Life.

Not to worry, Deb.

It had rained here a couple of hours before.

My shoes were wet when I got inside.

I live with a Safety Police ( self appointed) , so there was no chance of me doing something dangerous. *rolleyes*

Sorry to hear about your mother-in-law Lydia. Condolences to your family.

As far as the image goes, the effect may be considered trite, but it certainly has an impact - well done in that regard.

i love your shot, too.... i've always been a bit scared to try the burning brillow pad, afraid i'd catch myself on fire! or torch my camera!

Although it's my first time trying this steelwool thing... I totally agree that it's trite. But, we had a bunch of fun! (fire extinguisher at hand!)

Congratulations again on your BLUE ribbon win, Mark!! [user]mefnj[\user]
