The 5D2 is getting a little long in the tooth as far as noise goes. I'm trying to decide whether it is worth upgrading to the 5D4.

This is one exposure. The view to the naked eye would have had very little of the smoky glow although the hotspots were easily visible.

Crater Lake still enjoys some of the darkest skies in the country.

Somebody should call the Sierra Club , alert them to all the wonderful photos in this challenge. It's truly amazing. What a beautiful planet we have to live on. Thanks for posting this shot.

I hate when people go for camping and dont care about the natural resources, they think they are the best and screw everything else. Over all a powerful image!
