 As a pharmacist I should have found this challenge much easier, but then again I'm on a long course at the moment so I have little time and no drugs to play with...... :-)

I nearly didn't submit this as even I can see all sorts of flaws, but if I decided I needed to get back into the swing of things. I processed this heavily with contrast/hue etc as the white I was trying to achieve failed. This was more of a rescue attempt from the original shot.

Vitamin C effervescent tablets and cod liver oil capsules. I couldn't find an artistic way to include the Vapo-rub that I'd bought with them!

Hello from the critique club

An appealing image that meets the challenge.

I’m not sure this is the strongest most original idea but there are several aspects about it I quite like. The pink effervescence of the tablet against the blues and the way it is filling the liquid void is really quite effective but I think the cod liver oil tablets are an unnecessary addition, the simplicity of the glass alone would probably have sufficed. Looking at those capsules makes me think ooh there was a missed opportunity, a macro abstract could have been quite wicked especially with some effective lighting. Anyway, Ellie, thanks for your entry and the informative write up.
