Congrats on the HM!
Although I can relate to Karen's post I think it is still a lovely scene which combines the structure of wire and flower perfectly.

I like the fence, the DOF and the setting. I don't like the composition, sorry. The post that is in focus is too centered and the post on the right is very distracting. The photo would have been much better if the right was cropped off (just realized this is minimal editing and you can't crop - but you could have composed it that way in camera). Then you have a much stronger photo with no distracting post on the right and the main post would start on the right and lead your eyes down the fence right through the photo.

I think the barbed wire and the flowers complement each other very well in this. I like your choice of focus as well, adds nice depth to the photo.

The focus is on the barbwire, the left and the right flowers. Your POV is good but my eyes doesn't fall where you try to lead me. I would have gone with a f/8 and focused on the pole. A 6 from me
