Location: Palmdale Florida.

 This old Palmdale store and restaurant was built in the 1920's along highway 27, in central south Florida. It's served the small community there as the primary gathering place, store, and as a stop along the way for travelers for all those years until last week.
Now the nearest place for that community to buy anything is about 20 miles up the road.
There were about six fire departments there, from as far as 35 miles away.
My first trip there was in the late 1950's, with my grandfather.

Nikon D600 with 28-300 Nikon zoom.

Amazing timing! A few minutes later, after the roof fell in, wouldn't be as strong an image. Nicely done.
