 Lava from Kilauea Volcano on the big island of Hawaii, travels 15 miles to the ocean near Kalapana. As lava pounds the ocean it creates a cloud of dangerous sulfuric acid. The flow has added about 500 acres of land since its continuous eruption since 1983.
