this is a photo of the smoking area in what used to be one of my favourite pubs about five years ago. it has received significant investment and changed quite a bit in the last few years.

i don't like the changes that were made to the bar to be honest :)

After:
Don was curious about how I achieved my abstract. The main effect was achieved when taking the photo. I was looking out through strange glass and put my phone right up to it. This achieved the nice distortions here. Additionally. I was moving the phone around the glass quite quickly to get motion blur in the image. Since it was dusk and sunsetty I knew that the shutter time would be quite slow and I would get this. The rest was just working the image.

Here's either the original or an outtake (it's super hard to tell):



I may have worked the image a little too much. Some of the smoothness of the original is lost

These kind of abstract images look great to hang on a wall. But for sure the target audience that it appeals to is very less. I commend your courage to stick to your belief and post what you really like.
