Since the begining I knew that I have missed 100% the Challenge. In fact I read Still Life and without take precaution to understand the English definition, I though that is StyleLife wich is completly other thing.

it is part of life, we can't win all the time and the fact that the English is my second language, well this may happend to miss understand the target of the challenge

Thank you very much for the voters that wrote comments and I present my personal excuse to the person whom propose this challenge

---------------------
They have a Vegetable Store close of my home where I made my grocery for the fruits and vegetables. When I saw the challenge, I thought it was perfect to make a composition for the challenge. I observed the habit that people and myself we do when we do our grocery. Typically, we check the price. I waited that a customer check the price to take a photography.

The fact that the challenge is minimum editing so I have to setup my camera in function of the environnement and react speedily , I propose you this composition.

Hello from the critique club

An interesting image that contributes to the challenge

Well Marcel, your commenters and voters are all of one voice and in terms of the challenge brief taken in its literal sense they are right. However, you could argue that you have captured the stillness of life as it stops to ponder the price of the goods on display! To be honest, that’s not a very convincing argument in respect of his distant perspective and the way he is merging into the hustle and bustle of the background. To make that work in a convincing way he would have needed to be larger and more isolated and his stillness a significant factor in the composition. Never mind, better luck next time...

Doesn't meet the challenge in my opinion, it's not a still life but a portrait?

For me, this entry misses the target. DNMC in the still life part.
Sorry.

Not really a STILL life if it contains moving people...

I like the shot, but... to me... it's not so much of a still life... as a shot of a grocery scene.

I hope others all disagree with me.
