 I listened to YouTube song piece by piece produce by Katie Melua and I was charmed by the lyrics. Additionally the video shows a heart-shaped puzzle. It touched me and I tried to produce the same effect but with my creativity. I hope that this composition pays tribute to Katie Melua

An appealing image that contributes well to the challenge

A very creative idea Marcel, well done. The concept is good and the execution is good too but I think a little more care in the preparation of the scene would have paid dividends. My eyes having taken in the heart shaped empty space are then immediately drawn to the blank space below the point of the heart and then to the left blank spaces and then to all the others. Because you are using the blank space as the feature for the heart you really needed to ensure that there were no other blank space anywhere amongst the jigsaw pieces, had you done so I think this would have scored and placed even higher but well done anyway its a very respectable result.

I like the composition on this, but would have liked it better with a stronger light source and/or a bump up on the highlights.

Interesting. I think i have sees similar image on some Youtube videos of her songs. It could have been the same song. It would have been an interesting entry in Hearty Fun, as well, if setup shots were part of it.

On the photographic aspects. If i was to shoot this in color, i would have added a tad more exposure, and a small a boost of saturation and/or contrast. Other that that, lovely shot.
