|I saved some cans so I could do a still life of cans and string. But then I thought "why not add a human element here with my adorable nearly 3 year old twin daughters?" So here we have it.
Kaylan, on the left, always comes up with the best faces while taking photos. Super photogenic, and listens to my instructions well.
Aurora, on the other hand, just likes being funny. She kept doing weird things, as she always does. And she didn't listen at all...until I offered treats for their modeling.
I know kid photos generally don't do well, but I'm hoping the prop helps out :)

Well, I had no idea this was extended editing until I started voting and saw all manner of photos. Still, there are only 40 entries in the challenge, so this can't do that bad, can it?
Wow, after 2016 was such a poor year for me at DPC, 2017 has started off with a bang. Another ribbon! And so close to that blue again.
I love that I ribboned in an expert editing challenge with a kids photo that would have nearly passed the old "basic editing" ruleset. The only things I did here were:
* Lighten the eyes a little bit
* Spot heal a light spot in the background
Thank you all again for your votes and comments!
