Interesting... I can see how it looked like a cigarette butt, but it's a piece of bread. (obviously seagulls don't cut the crusts off of their bread).

One of the things that I know that definitely cause a ruckus.

I'm amazed at the score and the number of comments. Especially because...

This isn't the photo I meant to enter!!

I liked the action and the sand being kicked up. I liked the guy in the background.

Probably good that I entered the wrong one, but it did take me a couple of days to realize that I didn't enter the one that I thought I had entered. :)

Congrats on the blue, Wendy. Funny that you entered the wrong one - probably wouldn't have made any difference! They are both brilliant shots. I like this one a bit more - I love that referee keeping an eye on the duel (I know, he's really just hoping they drop it). I love the omywhatafuss bystander, too.

It approaches the theme well and the cigarette butt being the item of struggle changes this message considerably. I enjoy the color space in this image as well

Nice angle and composition. You caught the moment spot on and I really like how you filled the frame. The fourth bird is an added bonus, in its role as supporting player. Well done!
