 so my mother passed away last year and we celebrated her birthday at this spot this year. We did a balloon release! It was awesome although the photos of the release itself did not come out as good as I would have liked for them to. I did happen to get a few decent landscape shots though. What's so significant about this photo is the occasion and the color as purple was my mothers favorite color. I am dedicating this photo to her. I was not totally sure if my photo is completely minimalist, but I tried. Hope you enjoy.

Do you have some of those cheapo ND filters that give the purple cast too?

I wish the shadow areas weren't quite so dark.
