 Sitka Spruce on the cliff of Kalaloch Beach in the Olympic National Park. A small seasonal creek has eroded the soil beneath the base of the tree leaving the root system exposed. This tree collapsed within 12 hours of this photo.

I love this subject, I love the framing, I love the moment, but the light is not flattering to such a wonderful subject. Would love to see you shoot this again with long raking light and a colorful sky.
