 I was going to enter a shot of the Aurora, which we were fortunate to see. But sadly, mine all turned out blurry :(

It is a spectacular gift of nature and I encourage everyone to see it if they can.

There is not a heck of a lot to do way the hell up at the top of the world, so on this day we decided to drive to Russia. Yup, made it TO Russia, and had a picnic on the side of the road, next to Russia. Until the Finnish border patrol came along and told us to move along.

This was on the drive towards Russia - a traditional, curving road through a forest, with lots of snow. We only encountered about 2 other cars, driving away from Russia. Oddly, this is not a popular thing to do in the frozen north of Finland...

Thought I'd switch up the processing.
