Challenge: Extended Free Study 2017-03 (Extended Editing)
Camera: Canon EOS-5D Mark III
Lens: Canon EF 24-105mm f/4.0L IS
Date: Apr 1, 2017
Date Uploaded: Apr 1, 2017

I'm turning up my extended editing here by adding two things! The fog was there a little bit, but I added a lot more in Lightroom. The birds were no there at all. In fact, I took the birds photos about 2 weeks later than the scene, in completely different lighting, and a completely different lens. I tried to combine them into this scene as naturally as possible. Hopefully I did ok.

I love this scene. The beautiful pastels on the horizon and a nice balance of the dried grass and water. Definitely a tribute to new beginnings (i.e. spring). My favorite in this challenge.

It's a lovely scene, lovingly rendered. For me, the geese are a little out-of-scale, I can't quite put my finger on it... Maybe a little too crisp?
