I Love it when I set out to NOT enter a challenge and then I change my mind, and then it does well, I think that's happened on more than one occasion :)

Not bad for an image which was slapped together using four images overlapping one another, added a bit of motion blur, and having no idea what one would end up with...I figured I'd be lucky to get over 5.5 with this one! It wasn't my original entry neither, I had that one in most of the period leading up to the challenge, but someone told me it wasn't very sci fi!

I can't believe this won, it probably didn't deserve to as I didn't spend as much time as many others on here did.

Anita, congrats on the Blue but if I may be honest, I don't have a clue of why this image did win. It's a lovely colourful image but IMHO it has little to do with the topic of the challenge, but probably that is my lack of imagination :-)
But somehow it is proof that things are changing on DPC, the more arty your image the better it scores. But again, congrats with the ribbon, I always love your images!
