The box turtles love our gardens and little the safe havens those gardens bring. I have so far identified 5 different turtles. Does that mean I have a turtle colony? I hope so. I really enjoy seeing them poke around.

Cute. It's like a family pet portrait with the flowers surrounding the turtle.

Gorgeous light amongst the flowers, image is a little bit soft, unless you wanted it that way...already voted just commenting on a few more.

I found a turtle... the only "wildlife" I found. I tried to shoot him... It was awful.

I'm so thankful that I didn't enter the lame shot I got of him! You'd have stomped the daylights out of my image! Ha!

Well done!! 7

Very nice. Lovely colours, effective composition, perfectly well-judged focus & depth of field. You don't need any advice from the likes of me. Thank you.

A pleasing image, but I do find myself moving from the eyes out of the frame, especially as I tend to read images from left to right - that means that I have to make the effort to move my eyes over the rest of the image rather than it coming naturally. Have you tried reversing the photo?
