Good photo, cool subjects. :)
Would be interesting to see what it looks like at a more sideways angle, could improve the composition somewhat and create a more even lighting, it is pretty strong from the right at the moment, but the baby's leg area is well exposed.
Perhaps some more room in the fron't some space to step into, crop is tight.

Nice idea, beautifully executed. That baby's skin just glows! The composition is masterful, especially the way the baby's feet are not in line with the adult's. If they were, all the life would be leeched out of the photo. As they are, the subtle difference makes it live. I have to give it 10.

Very well done, nice exposure/lighting and focus. The only nit pick I have would be to have a bit more room in front of the babies toe.

Too cute! The cropping is perfect, the WB as well. Clear focus! my number 3 this week! 9

This is one of the rare ones that vehicles this week's concept with great clarity, nice crop, my favorite

This is incredible! Everything is great, the lighting, the colors, the background are all superb. A sure ribbon winner that stands out above all the rest in my book. The only thing I would remotely think about changing is to have left a bit more room in front of the baby's toes. It may be cropped a little too tight. Fantastic and good luck in the challenge!

Excellent! Great creative thinking. Awesome clarity and focus. Love the shadows on the right side of the image.

This is my favorite of this challenge... i love the 'contrast' of old and young that you created in this work... = 10 - setzler

Adorable!! Great idea and composition. The lighting is good but may be improved if the shadows on the right were lightened a bit. Though it would probably look more b & a if the adult feet/legs were unclothed...I like it better this way. The contrast makes those chubby little legs and feet stand out more. Love it! 9 Lisa

Now those are some short little legs. Very cute shot. Did you try this in b/w. Might look good. great lighting and I like the framing. Good luck.

Very nice work. I like the odd shape of the frame and the lighting shows natural colors.

I love this shot, simple, dramatic, would have liked to see a little better lighting on the right side, no real reason for the shadows. still a (10)

Nice image. It does appear just a bit cramped at the bottom, but other than that the composition works well. Also, on the one hand I wonder what it might have been like with both subjects having bare feet (an no jeans), but on the other I like the contrasts provided here.

lol. This is great. Tiny recommendations: 1) leave a bit more room in front of the feet (looks like the little feet have room to move) 2) use more than one light source to reduce the shadow on the right. Other than that, super duper shot. Jacko. 9

would have been better if the grownup was barelegged too

Absolutely wonderful photo. Shame it's a little dark with a shadow on the right side but still great. Great portrait without the heads. Do it again and use a side light to get rid of the shadow and frame it and hang it. That's where it belongs. Great one. Should score up there in the top 10.

challenge met. what a great idea :) some may tell you that the adult should have bare legs and feet, too, but i liked the added contrast by him/her being dressed. great clarity and skin color, your lighting is a tad uneven (dark to the right) and i would leave just a smidgen more room at the bottom, but it is a great shot regardless. :)

This is a great composition. Lighting, focus and colours are all good. Perhaps I had liked the adult without trousers and socks. Anyway a great shot that gets high score from me.

Great picture! I love it! If only the right man's foot was little lighter.... one baby step forward would have done the trick! That's a 9 in my book!

I had thought of doing something similar to this but I didn't. I'm glad, because your shot is excellent and I wouldn't want to be the worse of the two! Your lighting, focus, DOF, etc is perfect. I am impressed that you have no wrinkles in your background cloth!! That drives me nuts on this site! The only thing I would have done differently would be to crop farther away from the child's toes. A little white space in front of the toes would help with image balance IMO. Overall, nicely done and I give it a 9. JD Anderson
