 I painted a posterboard for the background, painted the vase, and then had Van Gogh sign it.

Put it on some watercolor-looking paper (I know it's not a watercolor painting... that's the paper I had) making sure that the brown line was there between the bottom and top.

Not much editing at all. I was tempted to "Van Gogh it up a bit" with a filter or two... but liked it "natural" for the challenge topic.

Still... it took me 3.5 hours from start to finish since I hated how I'd painted both things the first time and then re-painted and then re-shot. Several times.


I can't wait to view the gallery on this one! Should be a bunch of sunflowers and I love sunflowers... so... should be very exciting!
