For this challenge I had some difficulty finding a photographic composition to meet the challenge. To meet the challenge, I went to a popular park where full of tourists come to visit the grain mill and see the water poured into the old dam nearly 100 years ago.

Here is the composition that I propose

Hello from the critique club

An interesting image that meets the challenge well

A pleasing composition Marcel, the shape of the water in motion is appealing together with its reflections. The person gives a sense of scale and is nicely positioned but the lamppost is not so good but there is little within the rules that you could do about that. What lets it all down for me is the serious banding in the sky which is most surprising given the minimal editing rules, it really is immediately obvious to a detrimental level. I quite like the building its position and lighting it does add to the image.

How do you know he's a tourist? Maybe he's a resident who just lost his job, his girlfriend left him and he's thinking about ending it all. ...meh, the bridge is way to low. He probably is a tourist. 7
