I love Rocky Road ice cream - chocolate with mini marshmallows and chunks of almonds - but have had a hard time finding it unless I stumble across a Baskin-Robbins. So I make my own by allowing a tub of plain chocolate to thaw, then add in the almonds and marshmallows and let it re-freeze. Works great!

Camera and tripod up on kitchen tablen shooting down through blades of ceiling fan and lights. Set up mobile island with necessary goodies and once exposure started, just set the timer on stove for 3 minutes and off I went! And yes, my kitchen is really that tiny. I wish it were a little bit bigger. Ah well...

pp: dear oh dear...my wonderful old wide-angle lens does a great job but has been subjected to all kinds of abuse over the years, so now its surface is quite scratched up. So I had a ton of cloning out of small sensor-dust looking specks to do. Crop, mostly global adjustments, desat, a ton of cloning, some dodge and burn and then some NIK.

Hello from the critique club

An interesting image that contributes well to the challenge.

I love your viewpoint Susan well chosen, it makes for an original image. I also love the long exposure it makes the image much more dynamic and engaging. Although the desat is necessary for the challenge the sepia toning works well. All the technical stuff is well chosen and effective. Don’t suppose there’s any of that delicious sounding ice cream left?

I love your kitchen. It looks to be about the size of mine. I built my tiny house when I was single never expecting to remarry. Then a wonderful man from my childhood showed up at my doorstep one day, we eventually married and we still live in our tiny house.
