 Water sports or water vessels are rare in my portfolio because of where I live. The closest ocean is four states away. Mountain lakes aren't big enough for most vessels. Not my style. I rarely take photos involving people.

I don't know if you read the challenge description, or not. It specifically said, "Take a photograph that's as unlike your usual work as you can manage."
