First entry using an iPhone image.
The original was taken in unusal bright sunlihgt and was a pretty snap .
However I thought it seemed to kinda work when inverted. Just wish i could have adjusted the tilt but it was not allowed under minimum editiing..

Greetings from the Critique Club!

Ahhh yes, yet another victim of whatever foibles wander the DPC voter mind...*sigh* If it's any consolation, you beat my entry by miles! ...even worse, imnsho, when pp tricks like inverting are used. Like you I find the restrictions of the Minimal ruleset to be a little aggravating. However that also means that having a tighter set of rules to work with means having to put a lot more thought into a capture. The basic composition is fine, the focus sharp and lots of detail. Good settings though a shutter speed of 1/1600 seems a bit high to me...it's a building, not a rodeo bronc!

I think the main reason this image did poorly was because it isn't quite big enough to be a true architecture shot, and also the vertical crop - that means voters have to scroll up and down to see the image in full and impact is lost.

Hope this helps, feel free to PM me

Susan

Yes! I like it! Very much. It works beautifully with this processing!
