I set out on a Sunday morning drive to some of my favorite spots near the water. Maybe 300 yards down the road I glimpsed this back-lit scene and thought "that's nice light". Then I noticed myself rationalizing but that's not what I was looking for, and besides where would I park? and started to drive on. I caught myself (and laughed at myself for thinking that way) and pulled over, I mean the road is really quiet at 7am on a Sunday. I took a handful of pictures here, and then continued on the planned trip. And of course, just to reinforce the lesson, this scene turned out to be the most interesting one of the trip.
