 Thank you for all the wonderful comments and generous votes. Very pleased to get a personal best with an animal photo.

I was fortunate enough to be in Ireland when this challenge was announced and there are farm animals in abundance over there - even more than Somerset. So I had quite a few photos to choose from. This one did have something special though.

I can't believe I am saying this, but I really like the expressions on the Donkey's faces. For some reason I can almost picture them playing poker, or pool(billiards).

There are many donkeys in the area where we live and they are often treated with a heavy hand and little food. This image is a celebration of how a donkey should be. Happy and free. Congratulations on a superb image and a well deserved blue
