 Taken at a local playground that is our children's current favourite. All I'm going to say is that sitting on a spinning rope swing for a couple of minutes taking these photos does horrible things to an adult's head.

An appealing image that meets the challenge well

Congratulations on your well deserved blue, a worthy winner. First and foremost you have captured a lovely image of your daughter that will be treasured and enjoyed for many years to come, for that alone it is priceless. For me there is a wonderful dynamic of the blurred background as she spins through an arc clearly enjoying the experience as evidenced by her lovely smile. It truly is a lovely image, well worth the bad head Mark!

I can't believe this won - my first ribbon ever! It makes feeling nauseous for about 3 hours after from all the spinning seem totally worthwhile.

I'm a sucker for a smiling child and this would probably be a pretty cool photo even if that was a grimacing adult. ...hmmm, maybe cooler. :P 9

Yes it's a terrific image on a real playground, but what, to me, lifts this even above that is this young girl, enchantment itself. The background, whizzing by, still feels clean. The colors are so friendly, especially her delightful clothing.
My second favorite in the challenge.

I photographed my dog on one of these, and considered entering it, all for about one second. The young girl is slightly out of focus, but it's still my top pick due to the difficulty in capturing this type of image.
